This Privacy Policy describes how BeatsCapsule Records LLP, under the brand name Kaabharat ("we", "us", or "our"), handles information when you use our Kaabharat Translator AI application (the "App"). Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to being transparent about our data practices.

1. Information We Process

To provide our translation services, we process the following types of information. We want to be clear: we do not collect or store this information on our servers. It is processed in real-time to fulfill your request.

  • Camera Input: If you use the image translation feature, the App captures an image from your device’s camera. This image is sent for processing to extract text.
  • Microphone Input: If you use the voice translation feature, your device's built-in speech recognition service converts your speech into text on your device. Only the resulting transcribed text is sent for translation, not the raw audio recording.
  • Text Input: We process the text you type or paste into the App for translation.
  • Log and Usage Data: Like most web services, our hosting provider and third-party API providers may automatically collect technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and the date and time of your request. This data is used for operational purposes and is not linked to your identity by us.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information you provide is used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • To provide the core functionality of the App, which is to translate text, speech, and images.
  • To send your translation requests to our third-party processing service.
  • To display the translated result back to you within the App.

3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

Your data (images and text) is securely transmitted via HTTPS to Google's Gemini AI API for processing and translation. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

We do not store, retain, or log the content you translate on our own servers. Your interactions are processed in real-time. For information on how Google handles data, please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy.

4. Permissions Required

To function correctly, the App requests the following device permissions:

  • Camera Permission: Required to capture images for the image translation feature.
  • Microphone Permission: Required to capture speech for the voice translation feature.

You may deny these permissions through your device settings, but the corresponding features of the App may not function as a result.

5. Data Security and Retention

We are committed to protecting your information. All data is transmitted between your device, our service, and Google's API using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS).

As stated above, we do not store your personal data, images, audio, or text inputs. Since no data is stored, deletion requests are not applicable as there is no data to delete from our systems.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently processed information from a child, please contact us immediately.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Any updates will be reflected with a new "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
